ABOUT LAUREN SMITH
Stevens Institute of Technology Master of Engineering in Engineering Management (2025) and Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering (2024). I am an industrious leader and problem solver within my education as well as my extracurricular activities. Currently working as a contractor at Merck, I practice project management skills as a member of the Keytruda Technical Product Leadership and End to End Cell Banking teams. On campus, I spend my time mentoring undergraduate biomedical engineers through my involvement in Tau Beta Pi, Alpha Eta Mu Beta, Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES). This year, drawing on my previous female health research experience and passion for supporting maternal health initiatives, I co-founded HeraHealth, a maternal health company dedicated to improving postpartum and menstrual care for women globally.
