ABOUT LAUREN ROSENBLUME ZINK
Hi, I\'m Lauren! I lead the Lab Visit Support Team within Member Success at Function Health, where I oversee the operations and experience behind one of the most comprehensive lab testing companies in the country. Function’s model — 100+ advanced biomarkers, longitudinal tracking, evidence-based insights, and a seamless member journey — reflects a new standard for proactive, data-driven healthcare. My role sits at the intersection of clinical operations and customer experience, ensuring that complex diagnostic workflows translate into clarity, confidence, and actionable insight for every member. My career has been rooted in helping people get to the “why” behind their symptoms. In every role, I’ve seen how life-changing it is when someone finally feels heard, receives personalized answers, and gains the clarity to take action. That belief in root-cause–based care continues to guide the work I do today. Before joining Function, I was the Co-Founder & CEO of Wisdom Medicine, a women’s naturopathic clinic built on non-dismissive, evidence-based care specifically designed for women’s physiology. We served hundreds of women every year who were seeking real answers; 93% reported feeling better and 95% reported improved body literacy — outcomes I’m incredibly proud of as a mostly-bootstrapped first-time founder. Though Wisdom has since wound down, the impact of that work remains a core part of my purpose, and I’m excited to continue contributing to the future of women’s health.Earlier in my career, I worked across functional medicine clinics, fitness studios, and coaching collectives, and hold a BA in Psychology and an MS in Nutrition & Integrative Health. My professional path is shaped by personal experience: I once believed “health” meant weight loss. After navigating my own health challenges, I’ve redefined it as energy, vibrancy, and longevity — a lens I bring to every team and every patient experience. If you’re in San Diego, working in FemTech / HealthTech / Functional Medicine, or passionate about reimagining women’s health, I’d love to connect.
