I have an extensive background in aircraft certification, structural analysis, composite materials and damage tolerance analysis. I have over 35 years of engineering experience in the design, analysis and certification of both part 23 and 25 aircraft. I have over 25 years in the design analysis and certification of nacelle structure. I have an FAA Designated Engineering Representative appointment in structures (Part 23 and 25). I have developed certification plans and participated in FAA technical exchanges. I have written and reviewed/approved certification test plans and test results documents. I have lead both design and research type projects. I also have been a mentor to engineers in the areas of certification, damage tolerance and composite materials.
