ABOUT LAUREN WEST

As a multi-disciplinary designer and Creative Manager with a humanist mindset - I have dedicated 8 years in the design field, and have applied my background in Interior Architecture to global advertising & marketing agencies producing award winning designs and experiences for clients who are recognised world wide spanning the fields of tech, fin-tech, retail, entertainment, gaming, and healthcare. My multifaceted background extends into project management, creative strategy, user experience research, concept design, & creative consultation to build a brand story from the ground up and resonate with users. I’m very swift at moving between creative, big picture thinking, art direction, and back to looking at the fine details and managing/improving workflows and systems/processes in the workplace. As a systems, solution and empathy oriented creative, I am motivated to be part of building a more inclusive, and accessible world. The profound interest in human connection, equitable user experience, interaction, and user psychology drives me to be a better designer and manager every day. In my spare time, I am getting back into a fine art practice, enjoying the art of Ikebana, weaving, marveling at furniture design, and expanding on extra curricular courses for project management, scrum/agile methods, and data analysis.
