ABOUT LAUREN RANDALL BUCKLEY

Lauren Randall Buckley has spent her career representing innovative healthcare technology companies before the Administration and Congress on cutting-edge federal regulatory, policy, and legislative issues. Her past experience as a policy advisor and lobbyist in corporate and client-service settings provide her a unique perspective for providing forward-thinking strategic advice and translating complex policy challenges into potential future opportunities. Lauren\'s current practice focuses primarily on providing strategic advice on health policy and reimbursement policy matters, as well as representing clients before the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other key policy stakeholders. She regularly advises biopharmaceutical and cell and gene therapy companies of all sizes on health policy matters relating to federal healthcare programs, such as Medicare Part B, Medicare Part D, 340B, and Medicaid. She possesses extensive experience relating to federal healthcare program payment systems and fee schedules, as well as on policy issues pertaining to drug price reporting methodologies. Ms. Buckley assists pre-commercial companies in developing strategic health policy objectives and provides education relating to critical aspects of coverage, coding, and payment parameters. Lauren has successfully represented companies in obtaining HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10-PCS, and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes, as well as Medicare Part B Transitional Pass-through Payment Status under the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System. She also assists companies in developing strategies for mitigating coverage challenges, as well as technical coding and payment policy issues. She regularly advocates for client priorities through rulemaking comments, proposals, and engagements with CMS.
