Sought out to spearhead a new high profile and high visibility effort for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) that proactively identifies and solves problems for complex spare parts on aging fleets-Collaborates with DLA and Boeing to understand requirements; advocates for both teams and steers expectations based on SME input to promote stakeholder support and assure actions are reasonable for all parties-Cultivates an environment for Engineering, Supply Chain, and Contracts teams across 5 sites to resolve issues preventing completion of Task Order requirements-Builds rapport with the client through constant, clear, and honest communication and on-time and accurate deliverables; this cultivated relationship translated to be very beneficial during negotiations and extensions-Refines and optimizes Statements of Work based on lessons learned as the Task Order became more agile and expanded from a quarterly to annual requirement due to the projects’ continued success-Set precedence for other Captains of Industry (COI) contracts to create and execute similar projects after successfully executing Boeing’s pilot quarter-Pinpoints resources needed to execute the project; delegates appropriate tasks to team focals and empowers them to complete tasks that will increase their knowledge and skillset-Monitors and controls schedules, budget, product deliverables, and progress against established baselines; tracks completion of order objectives to critical path schedule-Identifies risks and opportunities, communicates them immediately, and works to resolve or exploit them satisfactorily-Looks ahead to future requirements and recommends parts be added to future Task Orders that could impact production.
