About Lauren Parker
In May 2025, I completed my Computer Science degree at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA where I was a student-athlete on the NCAA Women\'s Volleyball team for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Last summer, I was a flight test engineering intern at Northrop Grumman, and contributed to their digitization and automation of program management. During the course of the internship, I consulted with teams on their standard processes for tasks and projects, presented to leadership, and created solutions in Atlassian Jira and Confluence to support task and status tracking across teams. In June 2023, I took the position of research and software development intern at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory working on smart grid research and simulations to benefit the progress that the lab has made towards accessible renewable energy use. I continued to work there during a gap semester in Spring 2024 to focus on my work on their smart-grid research and software development projects.
