ABOUT LAUREN MURPHY

I am a motivated and creative fashion enthusiast currently pursuing a Master’s in Fashion Management at Parsons School of Design. I am a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame, having earned degrees in Sociology and Art, with a passion for social culture and oil painting. I have developed a keen eye for curating unique, on-brand looks that blend bohemian aesthetics with current trends while working as a fashion stylist at Free People. I thrive in fast-paced retail environments, where I engage in personalized styling, help customers discover their individual style. Beyond retail, my experience extends to editorial styling for Strike Magazine, where I curated outfits for photoshoots, sourced sustainable second-hand clothing, and collaborated with photographers to bring creative visions to life. I have gained valuable skills in spreadsheets, data analysis, and communication through my coursework and projects at Notre Dame. During the summer of 2023, I completed a three-month marketing internship at Stifel Financial Corp, where I assisted with creating and delivering marketing campaigns, conducting market research, and analyzing customer feedback. I also have experience in designing and coordinating apparel for a residential community at Notre Dame. I am looking for opportunities to apply my creativity, skills, and knowledge to real-world challenges and make a positive impact. With experience in styling, marketing, and visual production, I am eager to expand my career in the industry.
