ABOUT LAUREN MONNIN
Meandering down a career path dedicated to improving our environment! As a student, I interned for the Zero Waste Program at Ohio State University, working at football games to reduce waste sent to our landfills and provide education to fans. Following graduation, I began volunteering for Green Columbus before accepting an AmeriCorps position with the Central Ohio Collaboration for Conservation. Through AmeriCorps, I took part in tree plantings, invasive removals, volunteer organization, and community education. Most recently, I started work for the City of Columbus as a Community Relations Representative, educating the community on litter abatement and landfill diversion practices.
