ABOUT LAUREN MONKEWICZ

I am a 2L at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law with a strong foundation in litigation, policy, and advocacy. This past summer, I worked at the Environmental Advocacy Center, supporting litigation and regulatory projects that enhanced my analytical and problem-solving skills. At Northwestern, I serve in multiple leadership roles, including President of the Law and Data Society, Vice President of Communications for the American Constitution Society, and Professional Development Co-Chair for the Women’s Leadership Coalition. I also contribute as a staff member on the Journal of Law and Social Policy and compete on the Bartlit Center Trial Team, further developing my trial advocacy abilities.I have had the privilege of publishing two research articles, which have sharpened my ability to approach complex legal issues with a research-based and analytical mindset. Beyond academics, I am actively involved in serving my community, seeking opportunities to support others and apply my skills in practical, impactful ways.I’m excited to continue expanding my legal expertise, driven by a commitment to integrity, advocacy, and service.
