As a member of the Emerging Leaders community with the American Lung Association, I collaborate with a dynamic group of young professionals who are deeply committed to protecting and improving community health. Our board brings together diverse perspectives and expertise from a wide range of industries, united by a shared passion for public health, clean air, and disease prevention.A key focus of our work is planning and supporting our annual Fairways for Fresh Air golf fundraiser, which raises lifesaving awareness and critical funds to help create a world free of lung disease. Through this initiative and our broader advocacy efforts, we work to increase awareness of lung disease, promote prevention through early lung cancer screening, and educate communities about the dangers of smoking and vaping.I am proud to contribute to innovative, collaborative initiatives that drive meaningful impact and empower the next generation of community leaders.
