Responsible for all aspects of operations for the museum’s three historic sites and galleries (1768 Jeremiah Lee Mansion, Civil War & Grand Army of the Republic Museum, and J.O.J. Folk Art Gallery and Exhibits), as well as the archive and collections containing over artifacts. Prepares and oversees the annual operating budget. In 2018, reduced the endowment draw by 4%. By increasing fundraising, programming, and sponsorships, spent less than projected. Revitalized the public-face of the Museum by instituting new collaborations and developing relationships with stakeholders and media in the community to take advantage of reinvigorated and fresh programming. Since January 2018, I have overseen a fundraising program that has brought in over in restricted funds and over in annual appeal, which was a increase from 2017. Instituted a planned giving program in late 2018, which already has two donors with a potential of 10 others to date. Responsible for training staff and over 50 volunteers, conducting research, and program development and implementation.
