About Lauren M. Litner

Lauren Martin represents physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers against claims of medical negligence. Lauren also represents health care providers in licensing proceedings before Washington’s Department of Health. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers® as a “Rising Star” in the State of Washington every year since 2019.Lauren received her undergraduate education from Occidental College. She then completed the evening program cum laude at Seattle University School of Law while working full-time at ECG Management Consultants, a national health care consulting firm. During law school, Lauren served as an Editor on the Seattle University Law Review, Co-President of the Women’s Law Caucus, and competed in moot court competitions. She also regularly volunteered at the Washington First Responder Will Clinic. Prior to joining Bennett, Bigelow & Leedom, P.S, Lauren practiced medical negligence defense at Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer in Seattle.

   Lauren is a trial attorney whose practice at BB & L focuses on the defense of physicians, hospitals, multi-specialty clinics, academic medical centers, nurses, and other health care professionals in medical liability litigation, as well as representing hospitals in medical staff matters.Lauren also has extensive experience representing health care professionals in licensing and disciplinary actions involving the Washington State Department of Health, and the Washington Medical Commission.Lauren is licensed to practice law in Washington and Alaska. Her experience includes civil jury trials, administrative agency proceedings, and hospital medical staff proceedings. She has been selected to the Washington Super Lawyers Rising Stars® list every year since 2019, and the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch every year since 2022.
