ABOUT LAUREN CURRIE

I partner with mission-aligned organizations to strengthen their impact, adapting and developing resources, trainings, and systems to best meet their strategic goals. With me, I bring ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector, focused primarily within AmeriCorps National Service.I am a versatile, creative, knowledge-hungry collaborator. With my transition to consulting, I bring with me a vast array of critical experience and skills for nonprofit leaders. I have directed a large AmeriCorps program, managed a +$1.5 million budget, wrote, secured and managed a federal grant, partnered on external evaluation studies, developed logic models and organizational goals, created new recruiting and onboarding systems, mastered program compliance, facilitated through organizational challenges and conflict, lead organizational fundraising and more. My work is also complimented by a Masters in e-Learning and Instructional Design, where my love of learning and developing rich, universal learning content is driven.At the core of my work is my commitment to social justice. The desire to build a more equitable and just society is my internal fire and is what I always make sure is in alignment with the projects I take on and remember in the ways I collaborate and connect with others.
