About Lauren Lane

Lauren is an Ops Lead and Associate Manager for Lockheed Martin. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Master of Science in Engineering Management and will be attending Mississippi State University online for her Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Systems Engineering starting January 2025. She has proven project management experience and has demonstrated her understanding of the project management life cycle in numerous roles to include subcontracts and systems engineering. She has the ability to identify key stakeholders/decision authorities, critical paths, and potential risks throughout projects.She has demonstrated leadership throughout her career thus far taking on lead roles in training restructure for entire teams, lead an IDIQ recompete in subcontracts, lead Basis of Estimate (BOE) author for a contract extension, and has taken on the role of a Lockheed Martin Engineering Resource Group Las Cruces Chapter President where she leads a group of 6 Vice President and positively impacts her site. She has a customer centric focus and proven ability to understand and prioritize customer needs through taking action to mitigate program impacts through her time spent in subcontracts managing over $100M in IDIQ Time and Material contracts. She is extremely organized, detail oriented and executes a thorough approach to all situations. She is able to thrive in fast paced environments, while managing competing priorities and executing desired results. She has a strong technical and business aptitude and can communicate effectively with peers and senior leadership.
