ABOUT LAUREN JOHNSON

As a Clinical Trials Coordinator at Children\'s Healthcare of Atlanta, I am dedicated to advancing pediatric research by ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and families throughout the clinical trial process. I coordinate investigator-initiated and sponsor-initiated clinical trials, overseeing all aspects from communication and regulatory compliance to data collection and reporting. Collaborating closely with principal investigators, I serve as a liaison between the study team, and the Data and Safety Monitoring Board, ensuring comprehensive regulation and review of each study. My responsibilities include submitting to various IRBs, monitoring adverse events, and compiling critical data to maintain accurate documentation both onsite and with external institutions. I am committed to promoting patient safety and delivering the highest quality of care through meticulous clinical trial management. I am passionate about supporting innovative research that impacts children\'s lives. I strive to foster a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for our patients and their families.
