Utilize and adjust the College Board AP Literature and Composition curriculum to meet the academic needs of our students in order to execute College-level reading and writing skills-Develop and teach engaging lessons that follow the rigorous, AP & Common Core-aligned curriculum- Developed the Freshman English curriculum utilizing engaging and diverse curriculum from the top schools and systems in the U.S in order to develop differentiated rigor for varying levels of needs- Designed and implemented the first Theater program at our school with a focus on applying theater skills like public speaking, presentation skills, memorization, and improvisational skills to professional skills students can take into the work force- Use formal and informal assessment data to drive instruction and ensure student mastery of standards- Engage in rigorous professional development activities geared to have high impact on culturally responsive practices and interpersonal relationships in the classroom- Worked on a team to uphold 504 plans and IEPs- Run after school tutoring and clubs to create engaging & useful after school options- Serve as the Community Service Coordinator for every student across 4 grades by coordinating service opportunities with local partners, foster relationships with potential service partners, and collect and track data for network graduation requirements.
