About Lauren Herman
I was raised by my parents who were school teachers that had very little exposure to the technology space (and no “connections”). However, through my parents I inherited some of life’s most important skills; the love and respect for people, the passion for learning, and the patience for teaching others. Over the course of 5 years at Oracle, I leapt from Business Development to an individual contributor role and eventually into Sales Development Management. What drove my career towards Sales Development Management was a result of having reported to 8 different managers during my business development and sales tenure. That exposure fueled my desire to provide consistency and trust no matter where I work. In June of 2022, I took a leap of faith into the Database world because I wanted a new challenge that would help to develop me as a coach and to broaden my tech knowledge. I joined Redis to be at the forefront of AI and to help companies to build fast apps faster.
