ABOUT LAUREN HARWOOD
Currently a Workforce Development Manager at Manchester City Council. In this role I lead Manchester City Council\'s workforce to embed climate change ambitions into the way the organisation works and delivers services for residents and communities across the city. I am working with teams and services to provide bespoke support to help them understand and implement what they need to do to help achieve our zero carbon targets. In this role I deliver my strategic and leadership skills to drive both sustainability and cultural change required across the organisation. Previously, a Project Manager for Manchester\'s Public Health Directorate delivering the ACEs and Trauma Informed strategy and implementation plan across Manchester. A former experienced Engagement Lead, with a demonstrated history of working in local government engagement support. Previously leading on the implementation of Engagement strategies and methodologies for Manchester Council’s - Our Manchester Vision. Formerly Leading on Bury Councils Digital Engagement platform: One Community Bury, aimed at enabling and empowering local people. Previous to Local Authority- Skilled in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Lecturing, Peer Mentoring, Organisational Leadership, and Social Inclusion, with a Master’s Degree focused in Inclusive Education.
