I’m a social scientist working at the intersections of climate change, carbon governance, and finance. My work bridges research, teaching, and public engagement, with a focus on translating complex climate policy and market trends into strategies that drive action.Over the past 15+ years I’ve advised leading organizations on carbon management, participated in UN climate negotiations, and conducted field research in the Peruvian Amazon, Maine’s forests, on Cuban farms, and at civil society meetings around the world. I’m known for making sense of messy systems— whether that’s carbon markets, net zero commitments, or ESG investing— and for helping governments, NGOs, startups, and companies navigate them with purpose.At Colorado State University I teach, mentor, and build programs that connect students to real-world climate challenges.
