Lauren E. Johnson is a graduate of Touro Law Center located in Central lslip, New York where she received her Juris Doctor degree. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from St. John\'s University and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Boston University. She is the chairlady of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association Sports and Entertainment Law Section and has participated in numerous initiatives to propel the fields of fashion, arts, media, sports, entertainment, and criminal justice in a new direction. Her passion for these industries is also evidenced by the many volunteer opportunities in which she has participated. She has substantial experience understanding intellectual property issues that affect the entertainment industry. She also has experience working in Construction and Development Contracts Procurement. She possesses a strong understanding of Construction and Development policies and procedures in the procurement of contracts, contract management, contract analysis, and project management. Lauren has experience in alternative dispute resolutions. She is a PDSL, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and International Mediation Institute (IMI) qualified mediator. She is skilled in third-party dispute resolutions. Lauren received advanced training in the resolution of disputes, contract negotiation, and relationship management for parties in the arts and entertainment sector.
