I operated as the founding executive for the first 4-6 months of each business, led market discovery and early customer acquisition, then recruited the full-time founders and leadership teams. Before that, I spent eight years at Jornaya, joining pre-revenue and helping build the company through a 9-figure acquisition. I had the opportunity to build and lead our go-to-market and product teams, and led the launch of the Activate platform.I believe the best strategies come from getting your hands dirty—talking to customers, closing the first deals, testing assumptions in the market—then codifying what works into systems that allow teams to execute without you.
