ABOUT LAUREN CAREW

Lauren Carew is a Director in the Assurance practice of PwC Minneapolis. She is in her ninth year in the Assurance practice serving multiple clients, including mid-size and large multi-national public companies in the industrial product, medical device, entertainment and media and technology industries. As a Director in Assurance, Lauren has helped her clients address complex accounting issues such as accounting for acquisitions and divestitures, financial disclosures about guarantors and issuers of guarantied securities, valuation related to internal tax reorganizations and the adoption of ASC606 and other new accounting guidance. She has traveled internationally and has extensive experience with global coordination of audits, with specific focus on enhancing and optimizing shared service center activities and alignment of audit approaches globally. Lauren has also helped guide clients through rationalization of internal controls over financial reporting. Lauren is active in the community with involvement with Habitat for Humanity and the Alzheimer’s Association, as well as internationally through the God’s Child Project in Guatemala. She is also actively engaged in PwC’s Giving Campaign and recruiting at the University of North Dakota. Lauren received her Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Minnesota.
