   I manage the social media and events for The Mill Cafe, a nonprofit coffeeshop in Arlington, MA. My responsibilities include- Authoring a weekly newsletter with reflections on living in community and featuring upcoming events- Planning and hosting events to bring people groups together. The Cafe hosts approximately 3-5 events every week to appeal to different community groups- Collaborating with local businesses and organizations to offer mutually beneficial events in our space (example partners include StretchMed, Talk Time Boston, Mill Rat Studio, Arlington Brewing Company, Arlington Porchfest)- Creating and maintaining social media accounts, Eventbrite events, and websites- Receiving requests for parties and coordinating catering and setup. We typically host two parties each weekend- Contributing to the strategic direction of the Cafe by generating new ideas for remarkable hospitality.
