Oct. 2017 - May 2020 Formerly employed at the Knoxville Ice Bears professional hockey team in Knoxville, TN as the Game Day Operations/Promotions Coordinator. I conceptualized and coordinated all in-game activations and elements of entertainment and kept the team relevant within the community. Organized and attended promotional events focusing, heavily, on community outreach. Managed all player and mascot appearances and schedules, hosted weekly promo meetings, managed the internship program, planned organizational events and established corporate sales and partnerships. Acting as the face of the organization, I took on a heavy workload and interacted with various people across the state to promote and establish the reputable name of the Knoxville Ice Bears. Achievements- Helped increase tickets sales by 21% over the course of my employment- Conceptualized and executed top promotions that are now on track to remain in the lineup for future seasons- Created more efficient systems in each role of the organization- Conceptualized, pitched, and executed the rebrand of the Knoxville Ice Bears. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2017 I was involved in an independent study with UTK professors where we submitted our research topic for acceptance by the Southern Communication Association. I am interested in, and was formerly doing research on, communication satisfaction and it\'s effects on employee efficiency.
