As a Clinical Molecular Scientist and graduate of the Health Care Genetics master’s program, I have gained extensive laboratory and data analysis training in the molecular biology field. In my current senior lab scientist role, I am dedicated to maintaining an efficient workplace and delivering optimal patient results. Throughout my experiences across the biotechnology and molecular research space, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end genetic testing. I recognize the importance in paying attention to detail when handling patient data and communicating effectively with team members to ensure samples and projects are submitted within required turnaround times. Additionally, my experience with assay validation, Next Generation Sequencing, and data analysis in a CLIA certified laboratory has helped me to fulfill my future career responsibilities in an efficient and meticulous manner.
