Ms. Lauren Baumgartner is a geologist and project manager who has worked on a variety of projects that range from long term remediation and monitoring programs to large scale emergency response activities. She has over nine years of environmental consulting experience where she has worked with regulators and clients in Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland. Ms. Baumgartner began her career as a field geologist with proficiencies in media sampling techniques (i.e. soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling, etc.), and has acted as a first responder on numerous derailments and emergency clean-up efforts. Ms. Baumgartner has shown proficiency as a planner and coordinator of multi-phase, complex field programs on large scale industrial and rail projects. Ms. Baumgartner has retained many of the original field programs through her tenure at Arcadis and has transitioned her role from field geologist to task manager and now project manager. As an project manager, Ms. Baumgartner’s responsibilities include organizing tracking sheets, developing and executing work plans, preparing and reviewing technical reports, communicating with regulators and clients, as well as mentoring and training junior level staff. In addition to project responsibilities, Ms. Baumgartner coordinates staffing resources for the Houston and west region offices for both local and remote projects by organizing and managing office work load and available staff.
