I have worked on hard problems in climate, AI, and synthetic biology. I love getting into the weeds of technical details and helping find realistic strategies for incredible tech. For example, I really enjoy modeling early results / hypotheses at larger scale and thinking through the long term implications. Is it feasible? Is there some catch? Is it way too optimistic about variables beyond our control? And then what does this mean for the team, operations, tradeoffs, etc?I used to be a lawyer and try to stay involved in the policy world where I can.
