About Laurel Blackstone
Due to a Head Injury I received in Nov 2015, my plans have changed temporarily and I am currently on light duty and working with the Brain Injury Unit of all places-LOL I understand them and they understand me, it works out great. I\'m able to use my skills as an Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help my clients deal with their issues from their brain injuries. Thank you! Would like to use my experience in physical and mental health to work with children or adults to help improve their well being. Especially interested in working in the Pediatric, mental health field or helping women and children of domestic violence. Experience in planning and facilitating various life skills groups, see my skills under my occupational therapy assistant job or message me for a copy of my resume. Currently an advocate for Domestic Violence and writing a book about my experiences.
