Underwrite existing commercial loan renewals with exposure up to $1 million based on credit criteria and cash flow analysis while managing a flowing pipeline of those loans by working with clients to discuss financing, negotiate terms, identify financial needs and cross sell opportunities as well as collaborate with internal and external departments to collect pertinent documents required for loan closings.• Underwrite new money commercial loans through a score only methodology which includes reviewing business and personal credit as well as client relationships with exposure up to Review and restructure existing commercial loans to ensure collateral is properly secured • Minimize risk exposure by updating risk rates and document deficiencies to determine if problem loans and past due loans can be renewed or will be sent to Problem Asset Management. • Ensure timely communication with clients, third party vendors, and internal departments by obtaining necessary documentation. • Coordinate loan closings with borrowers, bankers, relationship managers and attorneys when needed.• Effectively implement change to process, procedure, and risk rating methodology in accordance with policy updates.• Proven top performer as evidenced by a client retention rate of 90% in 2021, 88% in 2020, 84% in 2019, 82% in 2018, 83% in 2017 and 84% in 2016 compared to the team standard of 70%.
