As Growth Marketing Manager, I contribute to defining and executing BDC’s digital growth strategy. I report to the Director of Growth Marketing within a program sponsored by the Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Small Business Digital Banking.Working closely with my co-leads in Marketing and Operations, I defined our Growth Marketing strategy and roadmap, focusing on initiatives and experiments to drive digital acquisition. As part of our program setup, I collaborated with my co-leads to design and operationalize an agile-like team of cross-functional marketers (matrix model) and operations resources to deliver growth initiatives.

ABOUT LAURA SWAYNE

HelloI\'m Laura, Growth Growth Marketing Manager at BDC where I lead the definition and execution of our digital growth strategy along with our awesome team of cross-functional marketers and operations leaders.🧪 to I started my career out as an analytical chemist transitioning into Analytics and Product Management rather early on. I\'m known for my pragmatic, data-backed and structured (some would say rigorous) approach to business objectives and strategy - whether standing up new teams or evolving existing approaches. I have experience working with a variety of stakeholders and executive sponsors with a track record of clear, open communication and collaborative relationships. Outside of Work I have the privilege of serving as the current President of the McGill Women\'s Alumnae Association (MWAA) and am Founding Chair of the McGill Women’s Mentorship Program. My focus is on advancing the leadership potential of McGill’s female graduates with passion projects of mentorship and financial literacy. I also enjoy a good British murder mystery, the occasional fitness class and walking in the city.
