ABOUT LAURA SCOTT ASSOC
Having successfully graduated from the Robert Gordon University in 2012, with BA (Hons) degree in Management with Human Resource Management, I am now back studying MSc Human Resource Management course to become CIPD qualified. From my experience within the Oil and Gas industry, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the HR function itself and been exposed to a wide range of HR activities as a result. I now have over 3 years experience working within HR under various different roles - HR/Project Administrator, Resourcing Coordinator and HR Offshore Operations support roles, and strongly believe that an effective HR function brings with it many benefits to an organisation. Working overseas in Singapore, travelling through south east Asia and Australia meeting and working with new people, taking on new roles and experiencing and embracing different cultures has aided in the development of my people and communication skills, cultural awareness and confidence.
