About Laura Sawyer
About I am an adult educator, learning designer, speaker and facilitator, specializing in creating learning experiences that foster perspective transformation, human connection and growth. For the past 10 years I have worked in the corporate sector, helping executives, teams and organizations to work in innovative and healthy ways and to create work environments in which people can thrive and realize their fullest potential. In this capacity, I have developed and delivered programs globally for multinational companies, including: Publicis Sapient, Accenture, Facebook, Disney, Conde Nast, Verizon, Kellogg, Revlon, Beiersdorf, and Mondelez. Above all, I am an advocate for open, inclusive and integrative ways of thinking, being and working. I hold a Ph.D. in Adult Learning and Development, a Masters in Women\'s Studies and I am a certified life coach. I served as faculty at SUNY Empire State College for over 10 years and, prior to my academic life, worked in the New York advertising industry at BBDO and Bates.
