Collaborate with curators, conservation scientists, and museum leadership on research, exhibitions, preventive conservation, environmental monitoring, and collection emergency preparedness. Serve on hiring committees for roles that impact collection care and conservation funding.• Manage conservation planning for 400+ paintings during a five-year gallery renovation. Coordinate deinstallation, treatment needs, storage, photography, and reinstallation with curatorial, registration, preparations, imaging and facilities staff.• Conducted research on preventive conservation staffing and best practices at peer institutions. Prepared briefings for senior leadership, outlining how gallery maintenance, environmental monitoring, and risk mitigation could be improved at Getty. Enhanced understanding of preventive conservation among internal and external audiences through a four-part guest lecture series. Co-authored a report for museum administration, resulting in the creation of a new preventive conservation position at the department head level.• Provided conservation planning and budgets for 20+ major international exhibitions and 12 smaller exhibitions. Seventeen of these exhibitions included modern and contemporary art. Coordinated procurement of conservation services and materials. Advised curators and exhibition teams on the condition, handling, installation, display, and transport of paintings.
