HOLA Linkedin!My name is Laura, and I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. However, since 2022, my family and I have moved to California, USA. One of the most enriching aspects of this move has been experiencing the incredible diversity here. As a Latina, I have had the opportunity to connect with fantastic people who appreciate my culture while adding value to their lives.In today’s corporate world, especially within a global environment, there is a growing recognition of the need for HR professionals, business leaders, and everyone else to value the unique skills and backgrounds that each individual brings to the table.This is a great moment to promote diversity in all its forms within the business world.I would also like to share a bit about my professional background, which I hope you find interesting.I have over 20 years of experience in human resources across various sectors, including business consulting, banking and insurance, and energy. I hold a Master\'s degree in Organizational Development and People Management, and I have a background in psychology. I also have extensive experience working with multinational companies based in Spain, the United States, and Latin America, collaborating with both B2B and B2C clients.As an HR professional, my skills include:* Managing all human resources processes* Specializing in talent acquisition and recruitment* Acting as a Strategic HR Business Partner (reporting directly to the HR director)I am also a certified executive coach by the ICI International Association of Coaching and a candidate for the international HR certification HRCI - SPHRi.From an early age, I was drawn to teaching and training in my field.
