ABOUT LAURA POPPEL
Laura Poppel is a Partner in BLG\'s Commercial Litigation and Arbitration group in the Calgary office. Laura practices general commercial litigation, with a focus on class actions, oil and gas litigation, and representing financial institutions in banking litigation and regulatory matters. Laura also regularly represents clients involved in contractual and shareholder disputes, and disputes involving director and officer liability. Laura has extensive experience with regulatory proceedings before the Alberta Utilities Commission and has been lead counsel in several Provincial Court and Court of Queen\'s Bench actions. Laura has also appeared before the Court of Appeal.
