I am a higher education professional with over a decade of experience. Student success is at the heart of everything that I do. In my career, I have- Taught, mentored, coached, and advised students in the areas of academic skills, life skills, college adjustment, health and well-being, spirituality, writing, humanities, and service-learning- Taught over 1500 students in approx. 50 courses, and advised and mentored 20-30 students per year, while coordinating an avg. of 5-7 student engagement activities per year- Increased test scores from 10-20% and pass rates in first year seminar courses by 16% through collaborating with faculty on innovative educational initiatives- Designed 100+ courses in 30+ different subject areas, while collaborating with 100+ faculty members in the areas of teaching and learning, student accessibility services, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and instructional design. Trained 500+ faculty in these areas- Provided web design, communications design, graphic design, video editing/multimedia design for 5 colleges/universities.
