With over 16 years\' experience in continuing accredited education, Laura Porter, CHCP, CMP is strategic leader who designs and delivers high-quality learning events and programs for clinicians. As the Assistant Director of Education at the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (SCAI), she works with physician key opinion leaders to produce in-person and online education that is evidence-based, relevant, and impactful.Laura manages a $2M education projects portfolio with 31K learners, creating and overseeing SCAI\'s education strategic plan, directing all aspects of product management, team management, budgeting, vendor coordination, faculty coordination, educational materials, meeting logistics, LMS management, and program analysis. Laura is fluent in many learning formats including hands-on procedural, peer-to-peer, professional development, symposia, webinars, and hybrid. She also leads the accreditation process and ensures compliance with ACCME standards and criteria. Additionally, she served as the committee liaison and project lead to the SCAI Match Task Force, which successfully led interventional cardiology fellowships into the NRMP Match, a major milestone for the field. Worked with the Executive Committee, developed and executed our campaign strategy.• Collaborated with Education Committee to develop education strategic plan and create new content to enhance specialty knowledge and ensure quality education initiatives.• Spearheaded the ACCME reaccreditation process for the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions with successful accreditation and no progress reports.Train colleagues and speak on using AI in Association Management.
