About Laura Levorsen

Over the last eight years, I have been the geologist on several A&D teams. It has been exciting and fast-paced work to quickly evaluate the economic viability of a play and determining what geologic drivers add or limit the play. I have truly enjoyed being part of a team that is challenged to analyze an acreage area and establish a competitive bid/high grade drilling locations. I have a self-directed work style and very experienced using geologic software, e.g. Petra, GGX. I am highly comfortable creating and giving presentations to CEOs, financial backers and additional stakeholders. My work, and the work of the teams that I have been fortunate to be a part, has led to several major acquisitions and divestitures. Areas worked: Rockies - DJ Basin, Piceance Basin, Uinta Basin, Powder River Basin, Williston Basin, Green River Basin Mid-Continent - Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma SCOOP Gulf Coast – Onshore/offshore Texas (including Eagle Ford) and Louisiana Western U.S- Nevada, Delaware Basin International - Malaysia, Cameroon, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Algeria
