   Tussey Mountain Ski Area

   Dec 2000 — Present · Boalsburg, PA, US

   Program Director for Penn State Kinesiology classes. Maintain the program guidelines, oversee daily functions, work directly as a representative of both Penn State and Tussey Mountain. Responsible for snowsports instructors following proper procedures acting as TA\'s and curriculum set forth by Penn State\'s Kinesiology department. Training Director to staff of over 80 employees. Duties include hiring snowboard instructors, training all new and returning staff, and setting training programs to obtain national certifications. As supervisor, responsible for all daily instructors, daily paperwork, and working with sales of lessons. Accountable for entire staff by being the liaison for the Snowsports Director and Assistant Director. Head of adaptive training, specialization in child development and learning styles. Provided the opportunity to work as a guest trainer at various other resorts in the Tri-State area.
