ABOUT LAURA NASH

I’ve worked in startups, federal agencies, global consultancies, and mission-driven orgs — and picked up useful tools from each one. That range helps me spot patterns, adapt quickly, and build systems that scale. It’s also taught me how to navigate just about any environment, whether scrappy, huge, slow, lightning fast, or highly regulated.I don’t just make things look good. I care about how products work, how they’re maintained, and how people find them. My background in information architecture, content strategy, and research means I think across levels of scale and design disciplines.I’ve led UX and content strategy for mobile subscriptions, large-scale websites, government platforms, and enterprise SaaS tools. At 18F, I managed a 30-person design team during a presidential transition. At GameClub, I shaped onboarding, identity, and engagement systems across 120+ mobile games. Before that, I worked across sectors (including health care, higher ed, B2B, and nonprofits) through agency and consulting roles.I’m a magpie for good ideas, and I steal from everywhere. I’ve taken tools and frameworks from game design, theater, puzzles, and everyday interactions — anything that helps simplify and communicate complexity.I’m looking for a team that values thoughtful systems, honest collaboration, and sharp questions asked at the right time.
