I’m a corporate communications leader with 20 years of experience, and have all of the background in counseling executives through the growth initiatives, strategy shifts, crisis, financial moments and the like that go with it.I lead the teams managing corporate communications, corporate media relations, crisis, financial communications, and function executive communications for this Fortune 150 enterprise technology company. In a prior role, I supported Biogen’s CEO, working under the biotech’s Chief Communication Officer through a period of significant change to shape all CEO external and internal communication activities and thought leadership.My career has crisscrossed a range of industries including technology, biotech life sciences, financial services, media, government and healthcare. An ex-journalist known for bringing Wall Street’s behind-the-scenes conversations alive — both on-air and in print — I have worked directly with CEOs, CFOs, CCOs, SVPs and C-suite leads to craft their corporate narratives and personal brands in a way that links communication with business results. During my agency experience as a senior-level strategic business communication consultant in Teneo’s Strategy Group, I advised leaders in heavily regulated industries on narrating and navigating their most critical conversations: media interviews, business transitions, major change management town halls, and appearances in front of policymakers. I was an authority on coaching for investor relations events, regularly shaping talking points and messaging techniques for earnings, capital raises and more. I spent 7 years as a finance journalist, working in high-pressure newsrooms to become a recognized face as a broadcast anchor and prominent newswire reporter. I covered Wall Street\'s biggest banks at Bloomberg News, where I was a frequent guest contributor to Bloomberg Television, including as fill-in anchor. I regularly broke news that moved markets and gained national attention on Drudge Report, NPR, CNBC and others. In earlier roles, I developed an expertise in distressed debt, breaking stories in one of the least transparent and most contentious credit markets in the world. I regularly wrote the most sought-after exclusives about high-profile bankruptcy negotiations and hedge-fund activism.I received my Master\'s degree from Columbia University, including coursework in post-Dodd-Frank regulation of financial derivatives at Columbia Law School. I’m a graduate of the University of Southern California, where I double majored in economics and print journalism.
