Collaborates with Director of Sport Science, medical team, strength & conditioning coaches, data science team and scouts on optimizing player development and holistic health-Facilitates team sessions focused on champions’ culture, standards of excellence, goal setting, and process-focused mindset-Offers strategic training and conversations with coaching staff on implementing mental skills into tactical on-ice drills-Drives measurable improvements in athlete performance through tailored mental skills program, resulting in enhanced on- ice decision-making and stress management-Spearheads transformative team culture initiatives during the re-build, strengthening team cohesion across multiple leagues within the organization (including major league, minor league and prospects)-Attends annual NHL draft to interview prospective draft picks for feedback and recommendations to GM on culture fit and emotional intelligence-Empowers athletes to overcome performance barriers, providing personalized strategies for identifying identity, as well as managing anxiety, negative self- talk, performance barriers and injury-related mental challenges-Maintains detailed session notes to show athlete progressions and implementation of individualized skills-Refers to Licensed Mental Health provider as needed to best support the athlete with clinical considerations-Collaborates with Director of Sport Science, medical team, strength & conditioning coaches, data science team and scouts on optimizing player development and holistic health
