Yes, my resume lists many fantastic achievements in my twenty-something-year career, and yes, my most outstanding successes have been in leadership roles (in industries ranging from tech to toys). Yes, I love to travel and have worked with multiple software apps for several years; and yes, I have created strategic reviews, project roadmaps and quality control processes. I have succeeded in multiple industries because I learn almost anything extremely quickly (except nuclear fusion & winning fantasy baseball):• In 1989, I was completely new to direct marketing and marketing in general. By 1992 I had risen to Media Director for a catalog company, in charge of a circulation of 70 million pieces. In that role, I initiated a seasonal response analysis that no one had previously considered, which increased package insert response by 35%.• In 1996, I was completely new to the direct sales industry. In less than two years, I was promoted to president of a direct sales company, and by my innovative marketing plan and distributor sales training programs had increased gross sales by 93%, and expanded our distributor reach into 15 new states and Canada.• In 2006, I knew nothing about the legal concept of discovery, nor did I know anything about the technology of eDiscovery. By the end of 2009, I was managing the eDiscovery docket for Dell; by 2012 I was promoted to Director of Project Management at an eDiscovery SaaS company; and by 2013, I was state accredited to train attorneys in eDiscovery in three separate states and Director of Client Services for a technology vertical.I could provide more examples, but the abridged version is: I am passionate about learning, growing, and growing businesses. I am a self-starter who seeks challenges and teaching opportunities and who gains satisfaction from making work processes simpler and more efficient while growing revenue.
