ABOUT LAURA ELEBESUNU

Washington, D.C. based creative and curious writer, multidisciplinary artist, and associate producer at Long Story Short Media.Most of my experience lies in editorial & commercial, developing written materials, photos, videos, digital media content, and live event productions that engage diverse audiences. Previously xp also includes food and beverage, music publicity and promotion, and guerrilla marketing gigs, always with the intent to increase accessibility and postively impact diverse communities. A former college radio station manager, music director, and DJ, I know my way around booking shows, organizing events, and conducting interviews and outreach. From leading the mvl radio team and a film club (producing multiple shorts & programming each semester), to being a student mentor, teaching assistant, and athlete, I\'ve prioritized learning, forming genuine connections, team building, and grassroots organizing. All of these experiences contribute to how I work today, providing a humanistic and hands-on approach to navigating creative productions, complex problems, and streamlining processes to flow through projects with precision and poise.
