ABOUT LAURA DUNKERLEY
I’m a Senior HR Business Partner partnering with Executive Leaders to shape people strategy, strengthen organisational design, and build the talent and capability needed for long-term success. I started my HRBP career in a fast-paced contact centre environment, which gave me a strong operational grounding. That grounding has stayed with me, but over time, my role evolved into strategic HR partnering and I now work closely with Executive Committee members and their senior leadership teams across corporate functions including Finance, Audit, Legal & CoSec, Corporate Affairs, Risk and Compliance, Strategy and Transformation and People.A big part of my role is building trusted relationships with senior leaders. I help them think through the people implications of their business decisions and offer thoughtful challenge where it adds value. Working with HR Centres of Excellence, Finance and Risk, we shape people plans that support the needs of each business area and the organisation’s long term direction. Much of my recent work has focused on organisational change and transformation - from organisational design and restructuring to ensuring teams have the capability and capacity needed for the future. I partner with leaders on workforce planning, capability development and succession, helping them anticipate people-related risks, identify critical roles and build sustainable high-performing teams. I’m passionate about helping leaders create inclusive, high-performing environments where people can thrive. I also mentor colleagues across the business, supporting their development and career growth.Longer term, I\'m aiming to progress into HR Director roles, and I’m focussed on continuing to grow my impact across strategic leadership, organisational design, culture and transformation.
