I am a highly motivated and passionate cyber security practitioner who after 13 years in the cyber security industry on the sales and commercial side has pivoted via the CAPSLOCK Security Bootcamp to use my skills in a more hands on way. I pride myself on my ability to communicate cyber security concepts clearly to both a technical and non-technical audience. I work well both individually and in teams and am comfortable taking a leadership role within a team. I have extensive experience with many compliance standards such as ISO27001, ISO22301, GDPR, Cyber Essentials and have helped many customers on their journey to compliance with these standards. Throughout my career I have had extensive exposure to many security platforms and am comfortable with using security tooling. I am passionate about cyber security strategy and how this affects the wider business keeping the quote from a Cyber UK presentation \"if security doesn\'t work for people it doesn\'t work\" at the forefront of my mind when advising on security best practice.
