Read Your Body is a community-driven, privacy-focused, non-profit menstrual cycle tracking app that supports a variety of self-understanding, wellbeing and family planning goals.100% user-funded and delivered by an all-female facilitating team, we\'re charting a different way in the femtech space: being led by our community rather than outside investors, working with total integrity to our values and at a pace that honours our bodies, building an app that encourages mindful engagement, and developing high quality educational resources that support self-understanding.As menstrual cycle charters and users of the app ourselves, we\'re approachable and empathetic. We\'re passionate about what we\'re creating while remaining humble and curious, always learning and open to input from our community—Fertility awareness educator certified by Fertility UK

ABOUT LAURA FORREST
Working at the intersection of female health, menstrual wellbeing, cyclical living, nature attunement, collective action, self-knowledge and humane technology.Founder / facilitator of a non-profit company that advances body literacy and menstrual cycle understanding for all. We’ve developed Read Your Body as a highly customisable, privacy-focused mobile app that enables self-tracking of menstrual periods, ovulation and unlimited lifestyle factors to support a variety of wellbeing and family planning goals. In everything we do, we work closely with our community to ensure our offerings are truly inclusive and everyone\'s voice is heard.Prior to this, I spent more than a decade supporting health systems strengthening in the global south. I managed and mentored teams in biodiversity-rich settings to identify and address priority unmet community health needs through listening-led approaches and cross-sector partnerships. I was privileged to work and learn across multiple contexts in Madagascar (living there for several years), Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Burkina Faso and Indonesia. I served on the global leadership team of a rapidly expanding environmental charity / social enterprise, gaining first-hand insights into organisational growth and change.
