About Laura Oconnor
Starting a new role as Account Representative - Direct for the State of Wyoming & South Dakota for Epiroc USA. I will be supporting the direct Epiroc customer base in surface coal, gold and aggregates in the rock drilling tools, parts & service, digital and capital equipment business lines.Previously worked as a Product & Applications Specialist for the RGU (Ground Support) division of Epiroc USA, assisting in business development & account management. New Concept Mining was purchased by Epiroc in 2019 & offers quasi-static & dynamic ground support for a wide variety of underground mining applications.Previous to Epiroc, I was employed with Sibanye-Stillwater, and led a crew of production miners and operators as a Mine Supervisor (underground production) at the Stillwater Mine. Also served as a Rock Mechanics Engineer & Ventilation Engineer for Sibanye-Stillwater in Nye, Montana for over 4 years.Prior experience working with AutoCAD (ProMine), Rocscience-Unwedge, Ventsim, Surpac, Vulcan, ArcGIS, VnetPC, Whittle, Talpac, and Matlab during my career, internships, undergraduate and graduate studies.
