ABOUT LAURA C AIKEN

I\'ve got the secrets to thiving under pressure.Stress, change, and burnout can be debilitating for people and teams. But an energising and fulfilling career, a connected team who trust and support each other, and an organisation built on inclusion, performance, and resilience are all possible.I work with leaders to build resilient teams through neuroscience-backed transformational learning experiences. Like the \"Leading with Resilience\" programme: a neuroscience-backed toolkit to help leaders and their teams manage stress, strengthen relationships, and build resilience, delivered in 60 minute modules over 6-weeks.I am passionate about helping people thrive. A chartered chemical engineer, I spent a decade in engineering and construction and have worked and led teams on several multibillion-dollar projects.But in 2019 the pace and pressure of the industry caught up with me. With a challenging new role, long hours, in a new city with no support network; I burnt out. My mental health crashed. Luckily, there were leaders in my organisation who cared, and gave me the time, space, and resources to start making myself better.
